Spring Break 2011 - Santa Fe, NM

Mom, Dad, Brian and I road tripped to Santa Fe, NM for Spring Break this year and camped out at the Santa Fe KOA Kampground. This campground is the same one that Brian and I stayed at for a friend's wedding a few years back, so it was fun to experience a repeat visit but with new adventures.

Passing by Pikes Peak in Colorado Springs

Bishop's Castle - Southwest of Pueblo, CO. The first scheduled stop of the vacation, and totally worth visiting! Walking through a hand built castle is pretty darn cool!

This bug sculpture was one of my favorite features of the castle. So unique!

He was a little over the top with government propaganda.

The main great room was absolutely beautiful with all the windows, stained glass, wrought iron, wood paneling, and masonry. 100% hand crafted! Incredible. I love this poem below, random, but beautiful.

Every home should have a moat and a fire breathing dragon, right?

Camel Rock, go figure.

Yes, I'm knitting...problem??
Checking out the scenic overlook on our way to Los Alamos.

The Long House Cliff Dwelling

Watching guys molding/blowing glass into sculptures at the Jackalope Mart

 Downtown Santa Fe

Our last night in Santa Fe, we made yummy salads with s'mores for dessert! I love fires and s'mores!
